words are exchanged.

in any competitive sport you are going to have words that will be exchanged. But in a certain case where a player is hurt like Shawn Thornton. You shouldn't be saying a whole lot. And what Fernando Pisani said to Mr. Thornton as he was taken off of the ice because of a major cut on his forehead. Fernando said something like, "get off the ice. get off the ice." He also threw in some naughty words but that was basically what he meant. Its one thing to talk trash to another player on the ice. I do it all the time. But when you have a hurt player, that's something that you need to give respect to. Because lets say that someone gets hurt. And you decide to say something to that person that was sorta mean. What if that man or woman ends up getting seriously hurt and possibly dies. I'm thinking that you would feel super bad about you did and would regret it for the rest of your life. That's why i think that you should probably think about think about what you say before you say it. Shawn Thornton isn't going to die though. He did receive 40 stitches to his forehead though. I'm not saying that you shouldn't talk during the game either though. It happens in every sport i think. Its the adrenalin or something that just makes you go nuts. So be care full about what you say people.

turco makes bet with fan.

If you are playing in the NHL and you are making side bets with one of the fans it shows allot about you. If you are on any sort of team you should be cheering on your team and not Evin talking to the fans at all. On Wednesday the Blackhawks backup goalie Marty Turko was caught accepting a five dollar bill with a random fan in the crowd. He claimed that the bet was about who was going to score fist and that just happened to be the Blackhawks. He also said that he ended up giving the money back after the game. But i think that is very sloppy because for one if you are in the pros you are supposed to have a reputation to uphold. and two if you are making a boatload of money every year just to sit on the bench. i think you could sit there and accept that you aren't good enough to play. If anything you should be watching the game so you might learn something new. Another thing i don't understand is that where was the coach when this happened? the coaches had to be on the bench so I don't know how they didn't see this. I'm also curious to see on how the NHL is going to handle this. I don't know if they are going to fine him or let it go? I guess he didn't do anything wrong.

nfl lockout compared to nhl strike.

Everyone now knows about the mess in the NFL. The players of the NFL are asking for more money and they just cant get it. I do not know how they could get anymore money when they already have millions or billions of dollars. Statistics have shown that you can live a very comfortable life with a million dollars. And when you make around one to fifteen million dollars a year for playing a childish game! I don't know i just think that they should maybe be payed less and maybe give a little money toward education. Especially because the United States is around 7 trillion dollars in debt. Maybe just maybe we could slim that number down if the NFL wasn't hogging all the moo la! Like when the NHL went on there little strike. Personally that hurt the NHL a lot. Mainly because the NHL isn't watched as much as the NFL or NBA and they went on strike for the whole season. They lost a ton of fans and now many television programs wont play the hockey games. I think that this strike for the football players is gonna majorly effect America. Because not only wont there be a super bowl but there will be no commercials for the super bowl. Also there isn't going to be any new merchandise like hats, shirts, sweatshirts, and other things. this strike is going to hurt the NFL greatly and i really think they should rethink this predicament.  NFL strike

for an average concusion to heal it would take around two to three weeks. After around three months of waiting, Sidney Crosby has come back to practice after his major concusion. three months was an extremely long time. the shot that he took wasnt even that bad! I play hockey and we are told to take hits right next to the boards so that the boards will absord all the energy from the hit. I know from experience that concusions are a pretty big deal. Especially around the sport of ice hockey. But three months! I mean come on that is a bit much. thats a total of 37 games that he missed. Im not trying to say that your health isnt as important than the team, but i dont think that you can get a concusion and then miss that many games and practices. But then again when your making over 10 million dollers every year for playing a game. You can probably do whatever your little heart desires. Sidney is a very great player with over 60 points in the 2011 season. He probably would have had 30 more points if he would have manned up a little bit more. So neadless to say sidney is a major baby and as the captain of the Pitsberg Penguins he should have played his roll a bit better than he did.  sidney crosbys back.
